Playgroup for March-April

Hey Sisters-

Here's the playgroup schedule for the rest of this month and for all of April, so don't erase this until you have made note of all of them!!!!

March 25 (Wednesday)
10:00 am at the park in the McCaffery (sp?) homes off of Locan and Gettysburg.
Directions: Heading east on Gettysburg, turn left on Locan, then right on San Gabriel, left on Whitmore, right at Rall, left on Reddington and right on Santa Ana and you will see it.

April 1 (Wednesday)
10:00 am at the park off of Ashlan and McKelvy. The playground on this park is really tiny, but there is a sand area, so bring shovels and buckets to play in the sand. There is also a big open field next to it so if you want to bring a ball or something, that could be fun too!
Directions: From the intersection of Fowler and Ashlan, go east on Ashlan, and a little ways up, make a right on McKelvy. The park is right there!

April 8 (Wednesday)
10:00 am at the park off of Peach and Alluvial. This park seems to be the favorite of a lot of people but is about a 10 minute drive away, so I thought this would be a great one to go to since no one needs to be taken or dropped off at school today! There are 2 playgrounds, one for the smaller kids and one for the bigger kids, and I believe there is also a rock climbing wall. It is a nice park for the big kids too. Pack a lunch for this day and stay for awhile!
Directions: Go north on Fowler, turn left on Alluvial and stay on it for about 2 miles and you will reach Peach. The park is on the northeast corner of Alluvial and Peach.

April 15 (Wednesday)
10:00 am Gettysburg park. The playground up front or the closest to the parking entrance.

April 22 (Wednesday)
10:00 am Bicentennial Park.
Directions: Go north on Sunnyside and the park is about 1 1/2 miles (from Shaw intersection), it is on the left side, after Tollhouse intersection. We will meet at the playground areas closest to the batting cages.

April 29 (Wednesday)
10:00 am Thornburn Park aka West Park.
Directions: Go east on Gettysburg, turn left on Locan then turn left on the last street possible, the park will be on your left!

This group is open for anyone interested in just getting out and socializing and letting their kiddos get some energy out! Please join us and invite a friend or two or three!

Hope to see you at playgroup!
Sharlene

P.S. During the hot summer months (which are approaching us very quickly!) I was thinking it would be fun to do playgroups at various pools! So if you know of anyone with a pool or if you have a pool and would be willing to have playgroup at your pool once or twice this summer, please let me know so I can start getting a schedule put together! Thanks! When is the weather get warm enough to swim here?

Playgroup

Hey Sisters-

Another week has rolled around and we get to get together for playgroup! This week we will be meeting on Wednesday at 10:00 am at the park behind Freedom Elementary. It is off of Gettysburg and Locan, roughly. Heading from the church go east on Gettysburg. Turn left at Locan and pass Freedom Elementary. Turn left on the last street possible and go about 2 blocks and turn right. The park is right there. These are some approximate directions. I will attempt to get an exact address and name of the park. We had a great turnout last week and can't wait to see all of you (and more!) again!

This group is open for anyone interested in just getting out and socializing and letting their kiddos get some energy out! Please join us and invite a friend or two or three!

Thanks-
Sharlene
